Week 9, Term 2

STUDYLADDER
This week's activities:
A large number of students did not complete last week's Studyladder despite very little homework being set. We hope that catch up will be made this week.
7 problem solving tasks involving the concept of measurement of area, perimeter, multiplication and money.
An extension pod has been added for students who completed Week 8 Studyladder
Thank you to Aman, Bayley , Ben N, Hermione, Jake B, Josh, Katey, Lily, Mason, Nathan, Ryan K, Sky H, William Sh & Brooke P.
The extension pod contains 1 Tutorial and 5 tasks on the measurement of area.
Any student who completes the Problem Solving pod may attempt these tasks.
A double Dojo will be awarded to students who complete the Area Extended Pod.

LSCWC 
Students are expected to complete three LSCWC (Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check) by Tuesday morning.                                                           (LSD)

READING
Read for ten minutes every night or twenty minutes three times in a week.

HISTORY
Chimney Sweeps & Child Labour
Last week, all students began a short narrative based on factual information, depicting a child growing up as Tom did in 17th century London. This journey can definitely take the character to Australia.
Please use the links and any other research to create the life of the made up child.
Peer sharing and open mike time will be given on Thursday & Friday
