Week 1, Term 3

STUDYLADDER
This week's activities:
30 tasks will be available for all students during Week 1.
These were set in the holidays and may have already been completed.
                                              Due Monday 3:30pm

LSCWC 
Students are expected to complete three LSCWC (Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check) by Tuesday morning.                                                           (LSD)

READING
Read for ten minutes every night or twenty minutes three times in a week.

MATH
Floor Planner
All students have a Floor Planner account and have begun to navigate the creation of a house.
Each student is expected to create a 2D/3D replica of the house they live in. ( If more than 1 choose)
We are aware that the students will want to focus on the aesthetics of their house and this is an expected part of their project. It is very important that the kids measure the rooms and try to be as accurate as possible so they see the real use of area and perimeter and we can develop these mathematical concepts in class.
We will be visiting this in class but obviously the measurement and creation can only be done at home.
