This week you may continue designing your own house, showing room size, doors etc. but do not furnish your house. Keep in mind that there will be a price to pay for every square metre of house,
During maths lessons in Week 6 we will be doing various calculations relating to your house, using your floor planner designs.
Students must research the local area average costs for land and houses. They will be presenting this figure and working out the average square meter costs.
Submissions will begin this week.

Room 8 students: Key-role students may have a costume of their animal but otherwise can all students please have black pants, black top, and everything black! if possible. We will be creating masks in buddy class.
Room 7: All students will be wearing/presenting items appropriate for an 'Around Australia Car Holiday' or similar holiday such as camping at the beach etc. We have discussed this in class. Examples - book, soft toy, board game, beach wear, goggles, snorkel, beach towel, sun hat, map, water bottle, eskii, etc

The video must be no longer than 2 minutes and needs to address the houses features. If possible it may also include their experience with the technology, difficulties encountered and improvements they would make.

Sharing Our Chromebook Knowledge
It was an absolute pleasure to introduce Chromebooks to the Modbury Primary teachers, staff and students on Tuesday night. I was accompanied by four students from Room 7 & 8 and quite simply they blew away their captive audience.
It is amazing to think that 6 months after implementation, our students are now teaching other schools about the way Chromebooks can change a classroom.
(btw Celeste is away today but was wonderful on the night)
